The composition of the planetary screw barrel mainly includes the central screw, planetary screw, and barrel.

The central screw is an active screw, with multiple small diameter screws meshing and rotating around its outer circumference. These small diameter screws can both rotate on their own and revolve around the central screw. This is because the outer periphery of the small screw also has an outer sleeve with helical teeth meshing with it.

The barrel and the front and rear barrels are connected and fixed with bolts, and the threaded section of the screw is an involute tooth shape, with a multi head screw thread.

Melting, plasticizing, and mixing materials: The planetary section is the core part of the planetary extruder, mainly used for melting, plasticizing, and mixing materials. This part consists of a central screw, several planetary screws, and a cylinder with teeth on the wall.
High strength materials: The center screw, planetary screw, and barrel are made of alloy steel with high tensile strength and wear resistance. The gap between the screw and the inner teeth of the barrel is generally 0.2-0.4 millimeters.These components work together to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the planetary screw extruder in plastic processing.
