SZ Series Gearbox for Horizontal Split Conical Twin Extruder
This series gearbox is designed according to the standard of JB/T9050.1-1999.
The gears are made of high strength alloy steel.
SZ Series Gearbox for Horizontal Split Conical Twin Extruder
The SZ series gear units is specially designed as a mechanical transmission device mating for the conical twin screw extruder. The gear unit consists the transmission case and the distribution case. The device can transmit the power generated by the major motor to the long axis of the distributor case after speed reduction and twist increasing in the transmission case. Then the long axis drives the minoraxis through a pair of small-conical-angle spiral gear with a transmission ratio of 1:1.The long axis and the minor axis with the same corner dimension as the screw bolt and in the manner of inverted outward rotation drive the screw bolt to extrude high-quality products.
Service Conditions
- The rotary speed of the high speed shaft of the transmission case shall not be higher than 1500 rpm.
- The ambient working temperatureshall be 0~35 ℃. When temperature is lower than 0℃, the lubricant oil should be preheated to 10℃ before starting.

- The transmission case is designed according to the standard of JB/T9050.1-1999.The gears and axal parts are made of top quality high strength low carbon alloysteel. The gears go throughthe process ofcatburization, heathardening and gear ginding, with the gear precision of grade 6 and the tooth surface hardness of HRC54-62.
- The bearings, oil seals and other main components are from high-quality local brands, as well as imported according to customer requirements.
